Self-love Really Matters Amidst this Pandemic

     Most of our moms at home are having hard time on how to manage in taking care of  kids, doing house chores, and struggling financial matters as well.  Being mom is not as simple as others are expecting. It takes time, energy and perseverance to raise kids, to the point that we are almost forget ourselves. Lucky if you have a responsible and loving husband to comfort you every end of the day. But not all wives are lucky! 

     We cannot give what we do not have. They are dependently seeking love and care from us as a mother. And if we are weak and unable to fix even our own struggles, we cannot express our love and provide their basic needs. That's why I really advocate sel-love as a major thing we should pay attention, particularly when it comes to mental health. 

Below are just a few things we should know:

1. Meditate
        Find a peaceful place for you to release
    all the negative thoughts of your mind.
    You can watch some videos on youtube to
    get the proper benefit of meditation to
    your physical and mental health. It really
    helps to heal our inner peace.

2. Rest
        Pause and give yourself some rest from
    stressfull house chores. Don't be guilty if
    sometimes you go to salon, have a
    manicure and pedicure, or get the perfect
    haircut for you. Watch your favorite
    movie with you friends. Consider this a 
    treat for yourself.

3. Make Friends
        No man is an island. Having right
    friends can help us to cope with the
    struggles in our lives. A shoulder to cry
    on and sometimes an adviser to tell us
    for what is the right thing for us to do              when we are in trouble. Someone to lift          us not to drag us down.


4. Learn Something New
        Step out from your comfort zone, don't
    be afraid to explore and learn something
    substancial to improve your self. Don't 
    hesitate to educate yourself in order to
    succeed, attend a class if needed.

5. Read Books
         One way to alleviate stress is reading
    books. Choose the right books for you, not 
     a gossip book, instead books for personal 
     development.
